It’s our 3rd visit to Cottage Point and this place will forever sit in a soft spot in our hearts.
This is why.
I couldn’t wait to wear my disco sweater dress from the 80s that I purchased from my recent visit to the Blue Mountains so I put it on and prayed for a chilly day. It turned out to be quite warm so I had to remove it (thank goodness for a tank underneath!) and slung it over my shoulders. It was nice to enjoy the sweater while it lasted anyway! I layered a pair of jeans underneath (cue from Maya Weyhe) and was quite pleased with the results. I’m definitely going to experiment with the dress+pants combo more this year.
Food at Cottage Point Inn was delicious as usual, and the whole suburb has such a chillax vibe to it. Best of all, it was just a 40 minute drive away, making it an ideal place to escape to when a bit of relaxation is required.
Have you been to Cottage Point before? If you haven’t, try getting in with a seaplane! It’s an awesome way to get a bird’s eye view of Sydney and a great way to feel spoilt!
Happy Friday.

The shoulder details on that sweater are just sensational! I love how you have paired it with jeans too 🙂
