Denim + Scrunchy

Denim anything is amazing.

This wonderful material is extremely sturdy, versatile and has proven to stand the test of time. Of course it’s also oh-so-trendy at the moment. Just step into any Zara store and you’ll understand what I mean.

When I saw this denim shirt dress at Uniqlo while on holiday in Malaysia, I couldn’t resist getting it. Its construction is absolutely beautiful and I saw endless possibilities with it. I’m not going to lie, the reasonable price tag also played a big part in influencing my purchasing decision. With summer fast approaching, I’m ready for something that I could throw on easily without being too fussy about stains,smells and dirt.

Oh and that leopard print scrunchy is soooo 1990s but I love it! (hate to admit it though) I was first reminded of its existence over at belinda love lee and felt irked by memories of those scrunchied-hair days. However the moment I picked up my mom’s over in Malaysia, something weird happened and my (hidden)affinity to the 90s resurfaced.
