We spent at least half an hour searching for a suitable slab of concrete wall and finally settled for this one by the roadside.
Good day mate! I hope my blue outfit hasn’t provoked any Monday blues!
Leather is one of my most favourite things to wear and when I saw leather caps floating around blogsphere recently such as this and this on the ultra chic Jenny Ong of neonblush, I was itching to get one for myself too. Now I’m not used to putting anything on my head but the cap had undeniably added a touch of edge to the overall look. On a practical level as well, it was nice not having the sun shining directly onto my face. The cap was purchased from asos a couple of weeks ago and the leather was surprisingly soft given the price tag. I’m glad I secured it just in time because they seemed to have sold out of them!
The blue lace top
that was bought on impulse had been sitting in my wardrobe untouched for the past 6 months so I thought it would be nice to take it out for a spin. I decided to experiment with the monochrome trend but could not resist adding a splash of neon to brighten up the look. A black leather bandeau underneath the top would look better but unfortunately this piece of clothing is still sitting on my rather long wish list. Fingers crossed that it will find its way to mama one day!
”Abakedebra!” The cap’s floating!!!
These Melissa are so comfy to walk in (an essential requirement on Sundays) and they actually have a distinctive smell to them… does anyone know THAT smell that I’m talking about?
Have a great day everyone! Looking forward to share more of my outfit ideas with you soon !
