Cape Town is well and truly stunning, and I’m so fortunate to have paid that city another visit a couple of months back.

These photos were taken on Kloof Street, an interesting street with eclectic offerings and plenty to see. One of my favourite South African fashion brands Take Care Clothing is found on this street and shouldn’t be missed if you’re interested in indie designers. Imho their website is not a true representation of their amazingness (what a pity!) so definitely give them a much-deserved chance if you’re in the country.

I was able to recognise a bunch of shops (no surprises here haha!) and that sense of familiarity felt wonderful. As expected, the weather was scorching hot and I was glad to be wearing my off-white chinos. I managed to miraculously keep them clean so I’m now considering the possibility of a pair of white distressed jeans from Nobody Denim in particular. (**Update** I just checked their website and the white BF cut no longer exists boohoo!) Ah well I guess I’m in no rush. Back to the wonderful chinos, I dressed it up with a bit of stripes on top and I really enjoyed the casual overall look. I was even more convinced about the pairing when someone I didn’t know gave me a positive comment on my outfit. Ah, a little compliment goes a long way. Thank you stranger!

This is the beginning of my series of Cape Town posts so if you’re interested to see how South Africa looks like, do hang in there.

xx
