I’ve wanted to share these images with you for the longest time but couldn’t muster up the courage to do so in the fear of disappointment.
Mr M and I did this shoot while wandering in Bo-Kaap, a Cape-Malay quarter in Cape Town earlier this year. Every single corner presented itself as a photo opportunity, especially against my contrasting bright orange dress. This dress holds many fond memories of mine (see 1/2/3) and is something that I would consider packing whenever I travel just because it’s so bright and cheerful.
I just love the explosions of colours and the way the photos turned out. They made me think of magazine pages that are plucked out of the 80s.
These punchy colours have definitely elevated my mood by a few folds. Hopefully they have the same effect on you too!

Wow this is crazy- this totally looks like a collection of fashion editorial photos! This venue is so perfect for outfit shooting- love all the bold colors and the hat picture on the blue wall 🙂
