Snipped off 2 things. Can you guess what they are?

I’m still trying to get use to the fringe but I kinda like it.  The last time I had a short fringe was when I was 20 or 21. I was overweight and seriously pimply so I vowed to ‘never again’. Brooke Testoni however managed to change my mind after all these years with her ultra chic hairstyle. It was a little bit of a now or never situation so I took the plunge… plus I lost a bunch of baby fat and I’ve also bid pizza face goodbye. Although I’m Chinese, I didn’t particularly want to look like a China doll so I figured coloured lips are the way to go. This might be a nice thing as it means more opportunities for experimentations. I’m normally ultra lazy when it comes to lipsticks but my bangs might just encourage me to press on!

I picked up those Cheap Monday jeans for cheap in Stockholm a few years ago and haven’t really given them much love because of the excess length. I don’t know what overcame me, this post perhaps so I took my brand new fabric scissors and gave them a good snip. That made the biggest difference and I cannot stop wearing them now! They are fraying a little but I’m not worried as that adds character to the jeans. This goes to show that a little change can go a long way. I’m so stoked that I’ve made another piece of my wardrobe work for me instead of purchasing something new. I’m definitely inspired to mend more after reading  this book :).

What are some of the new material/immaterial things that you incorporated into your life recently that have made a difference? I would love to hear your story 🙂
