Dark denim is such a great thing to pack when travelling because not only are they hardy and extremely versatile, the dark colour hides a multitude of dirt and stains! I’ve managed to play with my denim skirt a couple of times during our trip to Cape Town and this is the second look that I put together for our delicious high tea at the Pink Hotel (view the first look here). The only reservation I had though was the waistband. It was so snug and uncomfortable after stuffing my face with all the deliciousness that they had to offer! In addition to that I was extremely warm and sweaty so things felt even more stuffy than usual. I should have known better right?
The service at the hotel was immaculate and we felt extremely blessed to be able to enjoy our afternoon so much. Many a time I would take my good fortunes for granted but being in Cape Town certainly made me question a whole bunch of realities in life.
