Vintage Floral

Dress ASOS Heels Topshop Jewellery From Mom

Mr M and I had the pleasure of attending a wedding in country Terara a couple of months ago and as with most weddings, I scoured the internet to find something suitable to wear. I dislike the idea of buying once-off dresses but I find myself committing the same offence time after time.

I wanted to take advantage of the strong country element so I gave myself the permission to wear a floral dress. I was so fortunate to score the dress at an ultra discounted price. Honestly, I wouldn’t have spent too much on something that I was uncertain about so the price was the true catalyst for my decision. Often times I would try and limit fast fashion pieces in my wardrobe. However there’s no denying that lower price points have enabled me to be a bit more adventurous with my choices. I doubt that I would ever purchase Zara or Asos like I used to but I know that I would not be able to completely eliminate these affordable brands from my life, especially with a changing body shape right now.

I really enjoyed the dress as it suited the vintage theme perfectly. I was also given a few compliments from strangers and that helped with my confidence too, especially because I was in something that wasn’t me.

Most of all, we were just honoured to be there to celebrate love and a wonderful union. What a privilege.

Cheers xx
