We had an unexpected guest during our shoot and that was seriously the best thing ever.

Top MLM Skirt Topshop Sandals Zara Clutch Miseoul

I’ve been really trying to teach myself to appreciate my existing wardrobe lately. Instead of rushing out to purchase the next big thing, I took the time to evaluate the pieces that I have and made mental notes on how I would like to wear them this season. Someone referred to it as ‘shopping from your wardrobe’ and I really love that thought.

With the above outfit, the look was completely created with my ‘old stuff’. I couldn’t afford this JW Anderson skirt so I resorted to the gingham top I got from MLM for going away last year (see here.) The off-the-shoulder cut is a little fussy but I still like it nonetheless. That green pleated skirt I love as it doesn’t require any ironing at all *happy dance*. I’ve been seeing pleats everywhere! Good thing that this skirt survived that brutal culling that I carried out for our move 3 months ago. Those sandals? They were definitely this close to being donated but luckily I kept them because I’m kinda liking them again. Mr M said that the piece that holds the toes together at the front of the sandal makes him think of a marijuana leave. I’ve got addiction right on my feet ha!

We had an unexpected guest during shoot and that was seriously the best thing ever. I’m quite obsessed the idea of having a dog and would love to be a dog mama when the time is right.

Have a wonderful weekend and see you next week!
