wllwproject Discovers {Brand}| & Other Stories

wllwcollage01

Welcome to my first post on wllwproject Discovers, a new little project outside my personal style realm whereby I share images and information on wonderful brands, styles, shops, products (the list goes on) that may hopefully inspire or touch your heart in some ways. This will also be a great learning curve for me as well as I dive into the world of creative collages and photoshop and I’m ready to embrace the challenges ahead! Please bear with me while I get into the swing of things.

& Other Stories, a refreshing retail concept brought to life by Swedish high street giant H&M group in March this year has been making waves across the fashion scene. I had the opportunity to visit their brick and mortar store in Stockholm around a month ago and was instantly drawn to the buzz that was happening in the store. I threw a few glances around and my gut said ‘oh yes!’ to the ultra modern designs that were presented right before me. I am not big on frills you see. I rushed to the racks and started checking the outfits out in full speed due to time constraints and was delighted to find several numbers that I was keened to try on. Prices for most items were below AUD150 which felt reasonable in one of the most expensive cities in the world (so my heart had led me to believe). That store was like a treasure trove with items arranged in a way that facilitated top to toe outfit pairings without having to do much leg work around the store. Hurrah to busy bees and time poor tourists like me!

Avid online shoppers would be delighted to know that & Other Stories also runs an image laden online store that is just so beautiful to look at. Unfortunately though, this brand only ships to selected countries in Europe and the UK. Whilst nothing could be done by us (the excluded ones) at the moment, it is still cool to sit back, relax, admire and draw inspiration from those expertly styled ensembles. Non?
