Ever since the move, I’ve gotten rid of all my black sandals because I’ve used them so much that they have gone past their use-by date. Well, I was planning to give black sandals a rest this summer and just rely on my tan pair by ATP Atelier. The (extremely) limited choice made it quite difficult for me to be happy about my pairings and that was when I declared black sandals a must in my wardrobe. What a profound thought right? Lol.
So I started looking, left, right and centre.
I must be quite an easy victim of fashion marketing because the first thing that came to mind was Ancient Greek Sandals, a brand that is seen on many fashion bloggers’ feet. I spent a lot of time deciding on what I wanted (among the myriad of brands out there) and finally settled on the above pair from Revolve. To be honest, I did have my reservation against the wrap-around laces but my insecurity melted away after a couple of wears. I was also unsure about the fit as the leather was new and stiff but my feet have seemed to adjust to the confines of the sandals and I walk quite comfortably in them now.
I love them and I think it’s worth the pennies. Some things are really worth the hype. What do you think?
