I’m addicted to podcasts, and I find myself tuning in at every single opportunity that I have. Podcasts keep me inquisitive and interested, and they are much better than TV because they do not demand my full attention. Overall, I find myself willing to listen again, in this hyper-stimulating world.
If you are a fellow podcast listener, you might find the following enjoyable:
#1. Oh Boy and Monocycle by Man Repeller – Interviews with inspiring female creatives? Yes please.
#2. The Moth – Story-telling at its best. I diligently check in for updates.
#3. This American Life – Who doesn’t know this podcast must be living under a rock, although living under a rock isn’t that bad sometimes.
#4. The Sporkful – Still exploring the episodes but liking what I heard so far. Try it if you’re into food.
#5. The Mash-Up Americans – In many ways I could relate to the stories although I’m not totally mash-up.
#6. Woolful – I listen to it when I crave for a dose of woolly goodness.
#7. Bad with Money – A new-to-me podcast. Lots of humour and great for boring car rides.
#8. The Dinner Party Download – I’m relatively new to this. I can’t vouch for it yet but the reviews are great!
#9. Why Do We Have Things? – I’ve personally gone through every single episode and the discussions really made me think about my possessions and purchasing habits. I’m so sad that it hasn’t updated for awhile!
#10. Story Club – Australian story-telling at its best.
#11. Mortified – Super funny. Like ROFL kind of funny.
