Socks used to be seen as something functional, a non-fashion type garment. I don’t think very many people actually paid attention to them and every pair looked pretty generic. Until the introduction of Happy Socks.
Suddenly there was this explosion of colours and patterns from ankles up, and they were turned into potential statement pieces. The plus side to these crazy, fun, happy socks is that sock matching couldn’t be any easier! But what if life doesn’t revolve around wearing happy socks every day? What if wearing
boring plain socks is part of the daily uniform instead? How does one devise methods to efficiently sort a huge pile of similar looking socks out after a loooong day?
Mr M has a small pile of socks on his nightstand that he named The Lonely Hearts Club. Those socks were separated from their partners and would sit there for weeks at a time. I suspect that a few would never even reunite with their other half. Since I’m in charge of doing the laundry, I must suck at this job for the club to even exist haha!
So my question is, how do you sort out your/your husband’s sock situation in an enjoyable and somewhat effortless way?
